Eagle Landing JPG From Canon 5D MK III

I forgot about these initial test shots I made with the new Canon 5D MK III – this is a JPEG with less than two minutes work in Lightroom for basic corrections. ISO 800 pretty much right out of the camera with some vibrancy to bring out the blue sky. It’s amazing what this camera can do with even a jpg. Of course I’d like to think I had something to do with it too :)

  1. Right time, right place, excellent execution. Great photo Scott. Even though this post is about the equipment, it also shows how the right photographer in the right place and time can get a shot even with minimal technology help.
